Hi Kirk,
Glad to hear you got through the Canal. We have enjoyed your website. We are at Dan's and just drank a glass of wine in your honor. Have a fantastic trip and keep us posted.
Saw pictures of you in Peru and enjoyed them. Wish we could have been there with you.
Would love to see those stars at night and the sunrises and sunsets with you.
Love you much,
Grandma

Kirk--
As a long-time Gulf fisherman, I gotta ask: did you actually eat that Spanish Mack??? I grew up believing eating one would be like eating axle grease. What are the small tuna-esque fish in the cockpit floor. Look a lot like Butter Fish, but too big for the Texas passes I fish....
Good pics.

CHASE, thanks for continuing to follow the website!! I still use those old flippers you gave me before I left, infact have repaired them a few times! Not planning on any permits in Galapagos, just go on a few tours if I can afford them after checking in. Good to here from you! -Kirk

GEORGE, Im very happy with the way Salsa is set up and equipped, not sure I would do much in the way of changes, except maybe more water, I currently have a 28gallon tank under the Vbirth and another 30 gal in Jugs, Its enough to live more or less comfortably for a month, but Im not in love with rationing the water, a nice 50gal tank would be nicer. But overall Im very happy with Salsa.

Kirk-
I enjoy checking your progress. I own A-30 #555, Atalanta, now undergoing a complete refit. I have hopes of making a similar trek. If you have the time, I would like to hear from you on any traits or features of your boat that you might have prepared differently for the big trip, now that you are out there doing it. Be safe, have fun.
