Amigo--we were beginning to worry about you. My fellow Alberg 30-er and I had almost decided you were side-tracked with local attractions (read chicas) or had been boiled and served with plantains somewhere. Good to see we might have been incorrect on both counts. I am calling you to account, sir: how did your noble Alberg get wet inside? What caused the ostensible failures in the sail track? We will want to deal with these items before following in your wake.

Hey Kirk, What an adventure. I'm Jon from Austin TX. I'm currently working on a documentary on the sunshine coast here in Australia. I would love to talk to you about filming the trip that you are planning around May to From Australia to South Africa via Thailand.

I've been working in this industry since 1999 and I have some sailing experienced as well as scuba diving. I'm easy going, love to enjoy nature and do admit to enjoying a little danger on occasion. I'd love to chat at some point about it of you're keen. One way or another I'd love to learn much more about sailing and get on the water again soon. My own goals include sailing my own vessel across the globe as well as some point.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers and happy holidays
